Because you never know when you might need a card! Both our small size and large size box sets come with 10 cards and envelopes. All cards are left blank, so that they can be used for any occasion. One of our passions here at Field & Press is the use of the written word… an age old tool used to connect, to encourage and to communicate. Our cards were designed for just this purpose.
We also think that our cards are nice enough to frame. So if you are looking for a beautiful gift to give, why not buy a handmade frame for your loved one to be able to mount and display the card you give them.
Each card has been created from scratch by Lara, the owner of Field & Press, using traditional flower pressing techniques.
All cards are printed in Cape Town on to 300gsm art card, compiled and sent out from Riebeek West in the Western Cape.
Large cards 198mm x 140mm. Small cards 98mm x 70mm.
The large cards are sleeved in delicate tissue paper, printed with a brief tale of the artwork.
Bespoke envelopes are matt black, with a gloss frame for the purpose of addressing the card.
