These beautiful field [flower] presses are perfect for both beginner and expert. Designed to contain either a full A5/ A4 paper block (without cutting corners for the fixings on the corner), this press gives you the most possible available space in which to press your gathered treasures.

Made from 15mm birch plywood, these presses are not only aesthetically gorgeous, but are heavy duty and sturdy… perfect for studio/ at home hobby purposes. Each press is fitted with 4 x bolts, wing nuts and washers.

The press comes with 20 sheets of specially sourced 300gsm blotting paper, which is entirely reusable – just allow it to dry out (ie, give it an airing) between pressings. The blotting paper corners have been snipped in order to allow you to distinguish between blotting paper and the other ‘scrap’ paper that is needed to pack in-between to allow for moisture absorption.

Each press also comes with a long handled craft tweezer, which allows for easily handling of each fragile flower and leaf, both before and after pressing.

Each press includes detailed instructions for pressing flowers/ botanical specimens, including tips to enhance colour retention and the best possible positioning of leaves, petals and roots to ensure precise and striking pressed pieces of nature.

Please note that our general policy where possible is the use of ‘naked’ packaging, allowing for as little possible plastic as humanly possible to be used in the wrapping and posting of each item.
